During the 1930s, Attar Syed Usman, carried forward this tradition by establishing the renowned Mastana Darbar and Madeena Darbar brands. His commitment to quality and craftsmanship ensured that our family’s name became synonymous with exceptional incense.

In the 1950s, Attar Syed Ismail, our great-grandfather, established the renowned Mysore Islamia Agarbatti Company, introducing the iconic Sukki Darbar brand. His commitment to traditional incense-making techniques and pure, high-quality ingredients quickly gained widespread recognition. This heritage brand became synonymous with authentic fragrance, setting the standard for excellence in the agarbatti industry. His legacy of quality and tradition continues to inspire and shape our incense products today, building a trusted reputation for the next generation.

In 1964, our grandfather, Attar Syed Abdul Hameed, carried forward the family’s agarbatti legacy by launching the esteemed Maulana Agarbatti brand, which became renowned for its signature fragrance, Diamond Sugandh. His forward-thinking vision modernized traditional incense production, incorporating innovative techniques while maintaining authenticity. This allowed Maulana Agarbatti to expand its reach across markets, attracting a wider audience and solidifying its position as a trusted name in the agarbatti industry. His contributions paved the way for our continued growth and success.

In the 1990s, our father, Syed Arif Ulla, founded Himalaya Perfumery Works, a significant milestone in our family’s agarbatti legacy. He introduced the captivating Baba Flora brand, known for its enchanting fragrances that blended tradition with modern innovation. His forward-thinking approach revitalized the family business, ensuring its continued success and strong presence in the competitive agarbatti market. With a commitment to quality and unique scents, Himalaya Perfumery Works solidified its reputation as a leader in the incense industry.

In 2024, we, Syed Atif, Syed Kashif, and Syed Tousif, proudly carry forward our family’s legacy through Melting Aromas. This brand reflects five generations of passion, expertise, and tradition. With 15 years of experience in the flower industry through our brands, Melting Flowers and Flower Bazaaar, we saw an opportunity to recycle flowers from weddings and blend them into our incense-making heritage. At Melting Aromas, we honor our ancestors—Attar Syed Khasim, Attar Syed Usman, Attar Syed Ismail, Attar Syed Abdul Hameed, and Syed Arif Ulla—through every fragrance.
